Connecting Sales Channels
Propamp reads your Amazon data through Amazon’s own authorization system. You never give Propamp your Seller Central password — you approve access on an Amazon page, and Amazon hands Propamp a token it can revoke at any time.
One marketplace is one connection. If you sell in the US, Germany and Japan, that is three connections, and each is authorized separately from its own Seller Central sign-in.
This page is the quickest path to a working connection. For the full reference — Edit Mode, data aggregation rules, sync behaviour, and the complete FAQ — see Marketplaces Settings.
Before you connect
Four things will stop you, and it is faster to clear them first than to discover them mid-flow.
A verified email address
Connecting a real Amazon account is locked until you confirm your email — it ties seller data to a verified account. If yours is unverified you will see “Verify your email to connect Amazon” with a button to send the link. Send it, click the link in your inbox, then come back.
A password on your account
If you arrived from a demo or a lead form, your account may not have a password yet. The first time you click a marketplace you will get a “Secure your account” dialog. Set a password, then continue.
Signed up with Google? This does not apply to you — you already count as verified.
Admin rights, if you are changing an existing setup
Anyone can add a new connection. Changing which marketplaces are active — Edit Mode — requires an Admin role on the organization.
Cookies enabled in your browser
Authorization uses a short-lived security cookie. If your browser blocks it you will see “Unable to set authentication cookies. Please check your browser settings.” Allow cookies for Propamp, or try a non-private window.
You will also need your Seller Central sign-in for the region you are connecting, and enough room in your plan — see below.
Your plan’s connection limit
The header of the Marketplaces page shows a counter and a progress bar:
3 / 5 CountriesThe right-hand number is what your subscription allows. Reach it and you will see “Connection Limit Reached”, with the option to deactivate a marketplace or upgrade.
Deactivating a marketplace does not delete the connection — it stops that marketplace contributing to your reports, and you can re-enable it later. You do not have to re-authorize with Amazon.
Connect a marketplace
Open Settings → Marketplaces
The page is titled Amazon Connections.
Find your marketplace
Marketplaces are grouped in three columns by region. Click the one you want.
Approve access on Amazon
A popup opens Amazon Seller Central. Sign in with the account for that marketplace and approve the authorization request.
Confirm it worked
The popup closes and Propamp shows “Connection Successful!”. The marketplace now carries a green check and its button is disabled — that is what “already connected” looks like.
Repeat for each marketplace you sell in. If you are connecting during signup rather than from Settings, Amazon returns you to the next signup step instead.
Marketplaces you can connect
| Region | Marketplaces |
|---|---|
| Americas | United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil |
| Europe | United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Turkey, Ireland, South Africa, UAE |
| Asia Pacific | Japan, Australia, India, Singapore |
Twenty-one in total. European marketplaces share one Seller Central sign-in, so authorizing several of them is quicker than the count suggests.
Amazon Ads
Amazon Ads sits at the top of the same page and is a separate authorization from your marketplaces — it does not consume a country from your plan limit. Connect it if you want advertising spend blended into your profit figures.
Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and bank feeds are not sales channels; they live under Settings → Integrations.
After connecting
Propamp begins pulling your history immediately, and keeps it current on an automatic schedule. The first backfill is the slow one — dashboards can look thin or empty until it finishes, which is normal for a new connection rather than a sign that something failed.
Once data is flowing you can also reach it from an AI assistant — see Propamp MCP, which requires a connected marketplace as its prerequisite.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| ”Verify your email to connect Amazon” | Confirm your email first, then retry. |
| ”Unable to set authentication cookies” | Your browser blocked the security cookie. Allow cookies and retry. |
| The popup never opens | A popup blocker. Allow popups for Propamp. |
| The popup closes with no success message | The authorization did not complete — usually an expired attempt. Start again; nothing is left half-connected. |
| ”Connection Limit Reached” | You are at your plan’s country limit. Deactivate one or upgrade. |
| Connected, but no data | The first sync has not finished. Give it time before troubleshooting. |
| A marketplace button is greyed out | It is already connected. The green check confirms it. |
Still stuck? Marketplaces Settings has the full troubleshooting section, or email [email protected].
Security
Credentials are never shared with Propamp — authorization happens entirely on Amazon’s side. Propamp stores the resulting access token encrypted with AES-256 at rest, and all traffic runs over TLS 1.3. The Credentials Secure & Encrypted panel on the Marketplaces page shows the same detail in the product.
You can revoke Propamp’s access at any time from Seller Central, or by contacting support.
